Day 1 · 4 Jun · Bristol → London
It'll Work Out
Leaving London for Japan at last! With four years of uni behind me and a mix of sadness and excitement, I got on the plane. No idea what's coming, but it'll work out.

Good morning, everyone. I wanted to keep a record of my memories from this trip, so I've decided to write this diary. I have no idea what on earth is going to happen from here, but as a friend told me, "it'll work out." I'd be really grateful for everyone's support. Let's enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime trip together!
Today is the 4th of June. Today I'm leaving London and finally heading to Japan! If all goes well, that is. The 12th of May was my birthday, and I had an important deadline too. That weekend I went back to my family home and spent two days with family and friends. I was so happy that everyone came. My uncle even built me a drinks cabinet! On the 25th of May I finished my university coursework, and four years of uni finally came to an end. It was tough at times, but most of it was fun. It's been a really emotional time lately. I won't see my friends for over six months, so I've been feeling sad, and nostalgia for the four years I spent at uni has been welling up too. Even so, I got to see most of my friends and my girlfriend, and I'm glad we had a great time together. To my friends: thank you for four unforgettable years! Yesterday I finished packing, left my house in Bristol, and took the bus to London. The stress had really piled up, but I made it onto the plane safely! I can't wait for this trip to Japan.
